Travel
Getting there is easy by car. The resort is about 570 miles from Le Havre or 625 from Calais/Dunkirk. Almost the whole journey can be completed on Autoroutes with the moderate climb to the Village occupying the final 17 miles and possibly requiring snow chains* - easily hired or purchased in filling stations or supermarkets en route or in Bourg St Maurice FAR cheaper than in the UK. (*Although I was astonished to find I had to fit chains some 15 miles before I reached Bourg St Maurice on the way to the resort a few seasons ago!)

It's also an easy and pleasant journey by Eurostar's excellent train service from London straight through to Bourg St Maurice and thence by funicular to Arc 1600. You can catch the free bus from there, or take a coach - or taxi - straight from the railway station.

There are regular and frequent flights, both scheduled and chartered, to Lyon, Grenoble, Geneva or Chambery (particularly good prices are offered by Ryan-Air to Lyon and Grenoble, Easyjet to Geneva and flybe.com to Chambery,) with coach transfers, car hire or the train from these Airports. There are also coach services running from London to Bourg St Maurice and onwards.

We can, of course, help with further resort details and travel information if required; call us!
